Beware is the key. I do believe that you can make friends on line.

There are safety rules set up online to protect us.As long as we follow these guidelines the internet is a great place to hang out and meet people.I have many wonderful conversations online.I dont know that I would go out and meet anyone I have met online but to chat its fine..

However, I think you need to keep your guard up when giving out personal information. .

You never really know a person from online so you can't really call them friends.

I just can't connect with someone if I can't see into their eyes. Anyone can say anything online...you don't have their facial expressions or voice inflections to let you know if they're sincere or not. .
