I can't help but feel that the accusation is real and legitimate. The scary part is that this can happen and what will happen next time? Viruses can alter anything including behavior and even major trait of the host. It can completely change everything about any living creature. Fictional horror stories like "28 Days Later" and "I Am Legend" suddenly don't look so improbable anymore.
