Should you tell the boss that your supervisor is stealing from the company?
There are many ways to steal from your employer...office supplies, cash, time. If your supervisor is stealing, would you tell the boss?

I would tell the boss. Stealing is wrong, no matter what.

The company's bottom line is most important. I'd tell the boss.
If you get fired for exposing a thief, it's probably not a company that you would want to continue working for anyway. .
I'd be mindful of the office dynamics but my first inclination would be to tell the boss.
-- Posted By Perdie on September 18, 2007If a supervisor is stealing then that person has no scruples and could easily involve your name in order to pass the buck. Best to rat out the supervisor than to go down with the ship when you are innocent.
I would tell the boss. Stealing is wrong, no matter what.
-- Posted By Pamela1129 on September 18, 2007I had a boss that was embezzling once. If I had known about it, I'd have spoken to the owners of the company. Stealing hurts everyone. .
It could totally backfire and ruin my career. I'd keep quiet.
I hate to say this, but I'd try to find a way to uncover the supervisor w/o directly telling.
