Is it right for communities to fight to keep out Walmart?

Walmart has faced opposition when trying to open in some communities. Should they be banned or allowed to open?

Sure, they have the right to speak out, it's their town and their livlihoods at stake. But I've noticed that a lot of times the protests are emotional and not very factual.

They do have a right to speak out, but they shouldn't have the right to hinder someone else's right to do business.

Wal-mart does more for us than hurts us. Yes it doesn't pay well to it's employees, but that is either their misfortune to be in that position, or their stupidity. It gives the customer what it wants.

prices. If they can afford to build a store in an area and maintain it, than I think they should be able to do so. .

Yea, people shouldn't be able to simply voice against another's right to sell. They should simply practice their right to "NOT SHOP THERE"!!
I agree, people should have the right to go all the way with their financial endeavors.
