Getting Off Online: Cheating or Just Plain Fun?
People are meeting online, chatting, and virtually fornicating. Is this considered a relationship?

Only with your spouse should you have sexual relations.

Getting it on online is just as bad as in the real world
Only the two involved can say if it's a 'relationship'. If you are married, yes, it's cheating.
-- Posted By Perdie on December 7, 2007I think that having a sexual act with someone is a very personal thing that should only be shared with the strongest of feelings and emotions. I think that should only be with your true significant other, your wife. Religion aside, have some integrity.
I think it is cheating. You are lusting after someone else. How can that be healthy in a relationship? When you are in a relationship, you should be faithful to that person, body and mind.
Of course it is cheating just having sexual thoughts about someone is cheating looking upon someone else is cheating. It is LUST!1
So people should just stay faithful with their partner if you feel like you have the need to be with other people well than don't hurt that person just break up with them so that they can find somebody better.
Get over it! It's like an interactive Hustler!
Better than a stripper, cheaper than a subscription, cleaner than a hooker.
-- Posted By MoltenWhisper on September 12, 2007Online sex, at the end of the day, is masturbation with a bow on it. Let's be realistic; these people online are normal, horny people. Why not let them get something out of the exchange without making a big deal. They're not hurting anyone. And if people would just take the stigma off of it, maybe there wouldn't be all the hush hush about it. Communication about it might make the significant other feel more comfortable. But no, we have to be all uptight and make the situation sordid. It is just a little heavy breathing on the other side of the computer...but with a happy ending for two people. AND no one is being exploited!
I'm just trying to figure out how this could be cheating. If you aren't getting emotionally involved with the person, making secret plans to meet up and fornicate, who cares?. They are your private parts, your hand, your computer...instead of getting a virus from surfing the naughty net, why not find someone who is obliging to help your cause?
I always thought it was a shame that a woman in 12B is dying for sex while at the same time the guy in 11C is so horny he can't see straight...
I thought there should be some sort of cosmic clearinghouse where people with similar needs could get together and "scratch" each others "itch"...then came the computer to answer the problem.
No muss, no fuss..no expensive dating...no worry about disease...just a mutual online "wham-bam-thank-ya-mam" and everyone can sleep better.
