And the unwanted child will probably not grow up under the best circ$&stance, possibly providing another type of burden to society later in life from the mental implications of not being wanted in the first place. Back in the day, birth control wasn't even legal. It is a slipperly slope in making abortion illegal. The legal restrictions on abortion are getting tighter, however. As viability becomes sooner and sooner in the pregnancy, then it will become more and more difficult to get an abortion without the law interfering. But as it stands now, anything that completely outlaws abortion could be thereby sentencing the woman to death. You have to keep the health and welfare of the person carrying the child in mind as well, if nothing else. Do we stop an animal from eating their young? No. Why stop a woman from having a baby that may not be a great idea, not that the two should be compared. I really dont agree with the statement Abortion should be easy to get and on demand. but I do believe that woman have a right to choose for themselves. I personally would never choose a. . . abortion and I would talk to women about the other viable choice, adoption. I think that there would be fewer abortions if women knew what would happen to their bodies and pro-life people would approach women this way instead of labelling them as potentia potential murderers. Abortion can cause many horrible side affects for the woman and it can lead to not only the death of the fetus but to the death of the mother. Still it is ultimately the womans choice and I would not take that away from her. My main b My main belief is that if a woman just s^^!ws around, gets pregnant and then decides to have an abortion and she does this over and over again, then she should be labelled a murderer but if a young woman or even a young girl is raped or sexually molested by a family member and ends up pregnant, she should be allowed to terminate the pregnancy. If the child is the result of incest, how much damage will carrying the child do to both the baby when they learn of their conception and the mother. So on one hand So on one hand I am pro-life but on the other I am pro-choice but abortions should be approached by women who have done the research and understand the implications. . Medically speaking, abortion of babies is already illegal. The pregnant woman carries a fetus for most of her pregnancy. The reason the difference is important is because a fetus is not a viable life-form. It cannot live outside the body or womb.
