Much is said about Wal-Mart and how while it offers low prices, it drives the Mom and Pop stores out of business.

Wal-Mart offers low prices that low-income families desperately need

In this economy with families desperate to make ends meet, they should have access to "low prices."

Some low-income families don't shop at Mom and Pop stores because they find the prices far too expensive. Wal-Mart's not perfect, but this is about survival.

Wal-Mart's artificially low prices and low wages for its employees are killing local businesses

Before Wal-Mart will agree to build a store they demand tax incentives & other financial breaks.

Wal-Mart may be saving the average Joe a few bucks by offering discount goods...but we are still paying for these discounts because of all the tax breaks and other building incentives. They give with one hand, take with the other.

In a recent documentary management trainers for Wal-Mart revealed that managers are taught to refer employees to state aid so the company doesn't have to provide affordable health care insurance.

you need low prices if you have low wages, and wal-mart doesn't like the idea of organized labor....they are anti-union, and to me that means anti-worker...
