Should severely premature infants be resuscitated?

Some people would like to think that severely premature infants should never be resuscitated but it is still a life that we’re talking about. Add to that the fact that doctors must do no harm and you have a strong case for doing otherwise.

Doctors have a code to do no harm and therefore must follow that code.

Basically, doctors have a code that they have to follow and that is to do no harm to anyone. By choosing not to resuscitate a severely premature infant will simply contradict that code as it does harm by choosing not to do something. . It is quite strange for a doctor to want a severely injured patient from a car wreck while it hesitates to help out an infant who is battling for his or her life just because of an early arrival. .

People should remember that a severely premature infant should simply be resuscitated because it is, first and foremost, a life that is on the line. This is not just an egg that has been penetrated by a sperm, it is already life. The premature infant. The fact remains that if it were an infant that was not premature, and the pulse stopped, then the doctors would try their best to resuscitate and bring that infant back to life. The injury should never be in question because the injured is still a h.
