Until society stops the "He was sowing his wild oats" whilst "She is a W%@^e" women who do what they want to will go on crying "RAPE" when they find out that there is still a social stigma about an easy lady.

If most women are deemed smart, then it is reasonable to assume they are fully aware before they go out of the high liklihood of losing control and ending up in a compromised situation because of their choice to drink to excess.

Therefore knowing that she is at risk of behaving in a manner that she will regret later when sober, it is not entirely fair to blame the man that supposedly took advantage of her the night before! Afterall she knew exactly what she was doing to her .

own perceptions, judgements and is therefore equally responsible for the resultant behaviours that occured when she became drunk. She has then decided to conveniently call it: rape or an unwelcome sexual advance / encounter.

I've had only one drunken encounter in my life, and I knew the girl before then. But I have seen my friends pulled into that same trap. I'm not that big of a drinker, more of a sit-quietly-and-observe type now, and it almost seems as if some girls start their drunken conversations knowing precisely how it will end. Now, I know this is a serious issue, and I've seen the other side of the coin, where women really are taken advantage of, and I feel women should be safer when in that sort of situation. But I think, more often than we realize, the truth in the situation is masked.

Theres a big difference between being a slut, and being raped. It should be determined whether or not both parties wanted to have sex. There should only be proof to separate consensual from rape.
