I know that no means no, but what about mutual drunken compliance? RAPE: YES or NO?
We all know that no means just that: NO! But what about the night out with the gals and the guys…you know the deal everyone has way too much alcohol, perhaps even some recreational drugs (let’s be real here please) and there’s lots of kissing,

Women want equality. They want one night stands. However then they discover they are called S#^ts.
-- Posted By visionary1 on September 10, 2007Until society stops the "He was sowing his wild oats" whilst "She is a W%@^e" women who do what they want to will go on crying "RAPE" when they find out that there is still a social stigma about an easy lady.
Women are smart enough to know that excessive alcohol weakens inhibitions resulting in higher risks.
-- Posted By effervescentgodess on September 8, 2007If most women are deemed smart, then it is reasonable to assume they are fully aware before they go out of the high liklihood of losing control and ending up in a compromised situation because of their choice to drink to excess.
Therefore knowing that she is at risk of behaving in a manner that she will regret later when sober, it is not entirely fair to blame the man that supposedly took advantage of her the night before! Afterall she knew exactly what she was doing to her .
own perceptions, judgements and is therefore equally responsible for the resultant behaviours that occured when she became drunk. She has then decided to conveniently call it: rape or an unwelcome sexual advance / encounter.
I've had only one drunken encounter in my life, and I knew the girl before then. But I have seen my friends pulled into that same trap. I'm not that big of a drinker, more of a sit-quietly-and-observe type now, and it almost seems as if some girls start their drunken conversations knowing precisely how it will end. Now, I know this is a serious issue, and I've seen the other side of the coin, where women really are taken advantage of, and I feel women should be safer when in that sort of situation. But I think, more often than we realize, the truth in the situation is masked.
Too many women are indeed victims of sexual crimes, as men zone in on intoxicated women because they
Society has convinced men that it is acceptable to dominate women, because they are the weaker sex.
-- Posted By lindsayloo14 on September 10, 2007Historically, there hasn't been a balance between society's views of men and women, and today we see that many men believe they are the superior sex.. and that this makes it acceptable to dominate women. .
Women in centuries past have been viewed as objects, as baby-machines, and as sex slaves. Men who rape are thinking in these terms because there is not equality in the empowerment of men and women.
What a load of Crap. If you studied history you would find that women chose not to work because the industrial revolution meant for the first time in history a man could earn enough that his wife could stay at home.
Regardless of whether a woman is drunk, intoxicated, promiscuous, walking down the street naked, or making out with you--if she says no to sex, it means no! If a man continues after this "no," then it is rape, no questions asked.
The problem is the number of women who say "but I said NO" the next day, after they have sobered up. Men will have to start recording every sexual encounter on their mobile phones just as a safeguard!
The "Weaker Sex" label is a piece of feminist propaganda, put forward to paint women as victims while seeking supremacy not equality!
