Why does the Catholic Church, not allow its Priests to have wives and families to be normal as all others are. What are you talking about? Look up 1 Cor 7:1 Consider that the Catholic priesthood is a vocation. It's not a 9 to 5 occupation. It would be impossible to feed, clothe, and house priests with families. Maybe the church could have saved themselves a few million dollars by allowing marriage. The priest is still going to be holy regardless. When has God shunned love between two people? Why do we have these restrictions to begin with? Why does one need to suffer in order to be deemed worthy?. And I am sorry, but anyone that doesn't think a woman can do the job is only going to continue to sink over time. How can you gain new members to replace the old if you are off the cuff alienating half of your potential customer base? They need to adapt or the massive closings of churches and the funding will continue to drag. If they keep up with the status quo, not only will they lose their membership, they will also run out of places to preach and priests to spread the word of God.
