I know that there's a lot of beef out there about this, but I personally think it did happen.

There is a clear distinction between what is supposed to be parable and what's real.

You are exactly right. It is often stated, this is just a parable. Otherwise, it really happened. I hadn't even thought about it that way. But, you have an excellent point.
You are fools to believe any of that shit in the bible...

It's all just a load of legends and brain-washing propaganda.

It's Called Faith

-- Posted By YYY1 on August 25, 2008

It's called having faith. If you believe in God and Jesus, you believe in the Word. And you know, 500 or 1000 years from now, people looking at history books will say "nah, that stuff never happened, it's all made up", referring to our present. If we never make it back to the moon, people will stop believing it ever happened, etc. It's human nature, I suppose, to doubt events that are huge that we didn't see for ourselves. One last thought: No one ever came forward and said, I was there and Jesus didn't walk on water. Or, Jesus didn't feed multitudes with just 5 loaves and 2 fishes. Not one person ever came forward and said, I was there, and that didn't happen.
