Is Obama an Anti-American at heart?

There are obviously a lot of people for and against Obama. But what do you think? Is he anti-America?

Call For Backup

Invite others to join and support you in this debate. Or maybe you just want to pick a fight! Either way...

Call for backup now!

He's anti-American, and shouldn't be president.

Wacky

He's too ingrained with his Church's beliefs.

If you've spent that much time at a church that teaches such things, there's no way you couldn't take at least some of that to heart. Also, look at his previous book before the election book. His language was much much different. His tone changed tremendously when he realized he was going to run for president.

Funny how anyone running for office finds a way to get idiots writing good speeches to mind warp the masses into a frenzy.

I wouldn't recommend anyone who constantly says we are in need of change, yet gives no clear cut documentation as to what he proposes.

We're headed down a bad trail further...
Yeah, this guy definitely isn't the best choice ever in the history of the world.
I meant to vote opposing, so adding that vote now

No Way Obama...

This man scares me. His connections are too heavy. He could be a wolf in sheeps clothing. I say "beware". He can get us into more dangerous positions than anyone could. Calling an obvious anti american who blames all problems on the government a mentor, well, that just scares me.

But John McCain's connections DON'T scare you right?

Take a look around esp. over the past 8 years. The "government" has plenty of cause and reason TO be blamed for "problems".

Have a nice nap?
Beware is an understatement! I think he is the anti-christ

Better watch out. The people that have seen him walk on water will get even.

Check out the Alice Walker endorsement thread in Digg. She is "out there."

Another Bad Choice

We are wanting change so badly that we are willing to accept most anything at this point. Unfortunately, we do not have any real winners in this bought race for the Presidential Candidacy. So what do we have? Huge 1st timers running and it's pulling on many because we do want change. Would it be great to see a woman as president? Of course! But certainly NOT Hillary! She is terrible for this job, and would only be there because she knows the ropes of buying the job.

Do we all want to see someone other than just a white man in office? I don't really care if he is white, black, brown, yellow, female or male. But Obama is wrapped up in agendas that will NOT serve this country. Nice pick for a Pastor to stand behind too, Big 'O'!

McCain? Wow, he could do a lot if he could manage his temper and walk a true line. This race is frustrating for most Americans I feel.

As far as Obama goes is he Anti-American? He doesn't represent me and what I believe in America, so yes, he is.

"As far as Obama goes is he Anti-American? He doesn't represent me and what I believe in America, so yes, he is."

Does John McCain?
Hillary was our only chance at change in this country, I do not understand as badly as we needed someone who knows what they are doing, and can put us on the right track we choose a person we know nothing about, we had not heard of him until the last, say 8 months and someone who yes is a great American and was there for our country but is to old to serve, instead of the woman we know can do the job! or is that it? Shes a woman?

That was all in the past, and not relevant now.

Everybody changes

I would be more concerned if someone held fast to a view and didn't adapt with life experience. At least he wrote a book.

It was in the past. If we all had our pasts looked into, I'm sure we'd find something wrong with everyone. I think he is a smart man but I don't think he is the guy to be in the White House at this time. I just don't think he brings the experience beeded to lead a country that is at war, in a recession and education in America is hurting terribly. We need to bring a different approach than no-child left behind......Our country is being left behind !
Yes, we all have things in our past. But this is anti-American things in his past, and he wants to be PRESIDENT! If I used to be a child abuser, would you want me to have children because I claimed I'd changed?

There is not much choice here in a Democrat candidate. You either have Obama or a know liar Hillary. Did you all see the video of her under "sniper fire"? What a joje she is.

So I would choose OBama over someone I know is a liar married to someone whi is a known liar. (Monica anyone?)

DebAnne, I bet there a lot more people voting for Barrack because he's black than there are people voting for Hillary because she's a woman. I know several women who don't like Hillary just because she's a powerful woman. I polls have shown that a huge majority of the black voters are voting for Barrack. What percentage of those votes are because he's black? I don't know, but I do remember the outcome of the OJ trial and how blacks supported him whether he was guilty or not. Do you think that support was because he was black?
Think about it.
I have to agree here. I find not only does Hilary lied outright, but then calls it a mistake?? come on.. What bothers me is that people will vote for her just because she is a women, not because she is what we need in the office.

"Anti-American"! That is a flash from the past (McCarthey era). Obama is an truly an inspirational and very positive candidate in my book, and I hope he is our next president.

Anti-American? seriously. have we become this simple. This pseudo-concept of anti-American is a well place chew toy for those too thick to grasp basic foreign policy or anything outside a fifteen second sound bite. For some reason an alarming segment of this nations population believes anything spewed loud enough and long enough is a fact. NO! Obama is not anti-American, Obama is not a Muslim. He is against the current administrations xenophobic stance on practically everything (unless it involves the Suadis), the widening gap between the haves and have-nots, and the lack of relevant support for those in need.(V.A. Benefits; less well fare, more well fare-to-work). this is just another grotesque distraction from real issues being addressed by both candidates. this is like asking if Mccain is old and senile. it makes no sense, these men would not be vying for the highest office in the "free" world if these were legitimate concerns. please, seek opinions outside of cnn and fox and friends.
