I totally agree that america stereotypes just about every culture in a somewhat offensive manner. Its a little nearsighted to get bent about it though, considering that the same thing is done in foreign cinema. . I see a lot of foreign movies stereotyping americans as either uncultured idiots or john wayne, charles bronson types. Its nothing to gripe about in my opinion.

Yea, I travel a lot and find that Americans are often viewed as retards or imperialists, Russia included!! So give it a break.

And that includes itself. American cinema very often makes fun of things and it is only a matter of time before it came to the Russian culture. Its made fun of AVERY culture. So Russia, don't feel left out!!!!
