Is buying expensive things a sign of shallowness?
When people go and buy the expensive brands and items instead of same quality counterparts is that a show of personal shallowness? Is it something to place oneself higher in social status? And is that desire or need to be above everyone else in wea

Buying expensive things when wealthy is something that everyone would do, it shouldn't demean or tag
Someone could buy something expensive that has a cheaper counterpart simply out of taste or appearance. I mean, i would rather have a nice cell phone then the free ones, but i don't think i;m arrogant for it.

Procuring expensive things as a lifestyle is vain and revealing of one's lack of self confidence and
if it's only to show that you can afford them even if you don't need them then it's not really a nice thing to do..!
