Should animal experimentation be used for the betterment of mankind in medical fields and other related activities? Many argue against it saying that it is animal cruelty, but that argument seems to loose some legitimacy when you look at what we ALR

Too much can be learned by animals. They have their purpose as our food, then why not medicine and other things? Limiting the used of animals isn't a wise step i think. There can be a big difference though between experimentation and cruelty.

Just because some ointment burns off the skin of a rabbit doesn't mean it will affect us in the same way. Rabbits and Humans are very, very different. They should use tests on non-living things that are more closely related to humans.

What kind of Gods are we trying to be like? We definitely ARE playing God when do such strange and harmful things to animals. I dare say we are doing a very BAD job AT playing God.
