People can claim all they want that they are not racist, but likely on some level they are. en-us It is very natural for human beings to put things into categories, and to be afraid of what is unfamiliar. When thes e natural tendancies are combined with the presence of different sorts of people, it is to be expected that racism will occur. . Given the amount of ignorance in the United States, we can not help but be racist in our attitudes. Many of us are rarely exposed to differences, and are therefore incapable of acceptance or integration of new ideas and people.
