In the attempt made by non-minorities to bend over backwards to be fair it has made them an easy 'guilt' touch. Bad service at a restaurant in the eyes of the non-minority is chucked up to the server having a bad night or just general sucking. In the eyes of the minority, it was because they were of the wrong color or persuassion. There are so many reasonss why you didn't get the job, didn't get the raise, didn't get the service you wanted at the store. Children aren't intrinsically born with the need to discriminate. It is learned behavior. And I would hope that it isn't something being taught in our schools, so it must be learned in their private lives.
