Euthanasia and assisted suicide: should be legal or horrific thought?

Should it be legal for people to choose to euthanize their loved ones? What of assisted suicide? (Does the person making the decision change your opinion?)

If the person who is suffering consents then i think it is acceptable in certain circumstances. If they are terminal and there is absolutely no doubt they will die soon then why make them suffer against their will?
