Are our airways safer because of the TSA screening process?

After 9/11, the Federal Govt took over the screening process at all airports. Are we safer now than we were 6 years ago?

The rest of our country might not be any safer, but our airways are! We still have a ways to go in developing our screening technology, but it's better.

i can tell you several different way on how to get a bomb onto a plane or sneak a knife in, trust me, its not safer, its just a show. Wouldn't it be the biggest slap in the face to have another plane attack on 9/11? it CAN happen still and with not that much more effort on the would be terrorist's mind. This is all besides the fact that people are starting to thing that the 9/11 incident has a conspiracy attached to it. Like everything else.

It's all a lot of show. Anyone who really wanted to could still blow up an airplane.

I worked for TSA. I know how they function. I also know that in the beginning year TSA hired over 38 convicted felons and have let through semi automatic weapons to the gate. Really, things are not much safer.

I worked for them as well and I know first hand that the whole thing is for show. its there to give the American mind a sense of peace, that the government is doing something about the dangers that are attacking the country. The funny thing is that half of those dangers were self inflicted and the other half could have been prevented in infancy, but were allowed to continue and grow.
